Tony Cottee backs it up as he predicts result of ‘Big’ West Ham clash v Wolves…

Tony Cottee has offered his insights ahead of the pivotal Premier League showdown between West Ham United and Wolves scheduled for Saturday afternoon.

As both teams aim to reverse recent downturns, with West Ham enduring a winless streak of four matches in the Premier League and Wolves facing a three-game winless spell across all competitions, the anticipation is palpable at Molineux.

With a potential leap to sixth place alongside Manchester United looming should they secure a victory, Cottee took to his personal Twitter account (6 April) to lend his support to his former club, confidently predicting a 2-1 triumph for the Hammers.

Despite recent challenges, West Ham remains firmly in the race for European qualification, underscoring the significance of ending the season on a high note. Moreover, with their Europa League aspirations in mind, manager David Moyes faces the task of rallying his squad ahead of a crucial tie against the unbeaten Bayer Leverkusen.

A victory against Wolves would not only inject much-needed momentum but also serve as a morale booster before the pivotal European clash. However, Moyes must address the team’s inconsistent away form, a concern exacerbated by recent performances.

While acknowledging Wolves’ quality under manager Gary O’Neil, it’s evident that West Ham possesses the talent and depth to secure a favorable result. Nonetheless, Moyes must devise strategies to ensure a smoother execution on the pitch, considering the challenges posed by their opponents.

In parallel news, Chris Sutton has also weighed in on the forthcoming clash between West Ham and Wolves.
