Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen Revealed Why He ‘Snapped’ At Stefon Diggs After Week 1 Loss…

Josh Allen Reportedly ‘Snapped’ At Stefon Diggs After Week 1 Loss

On the “Tim Graham & Friends” Podcast, details emerged about an interaction between Diggs and Allen after their disappointing loss to the New York Jets. Following Allen’s subpar performance, which included three interceptions and a fumble, he was consoled by fellow players in the locker room. However, when Diggs approached him, Allen’s response hinted at potential discord between the two offensive stars. Allegedly, Allen snapped back at Diggs, expressing frustration with the comment, “It’s one f****** game.”

This interaction went unnoticed in initial coverage by Graham, who now regrets the omission, especially considering Diggs’ departure from the Bills. Notably, Diggs’ productivity decreased as the season progressed. While he had an impressive start with 70 receptions for 834 yards and seven touchdowns in the first nine games, his performance dwindled in the subsequent ten games, where he only managed 47 catches for 422 yards and one touchdown.

During this period, the Bills saw an uptick in wins, largely attributed to Allen shouldering more of the offensive load. This included a notable six-game winning streak that carried into the postseason.

The tension between Allen and Diggs seemingly escalated as the season progressed, ultimately resulting in Diggs’ trade to the Houston Texans on April 3.
