“I’ve been progressing swiftly on the recovery journey, hitting the ground running. Positive developments for Texans supporters as wide receiver Tank Dell recuperates from a fractured leg.
With just under a month left before the offseason training program kicks off, Dell is in good spirits.
His debut NFL season was interrupted in early December due to a leg injury sustained during the victory against Denver. Since then, he’s been diligently rehabilitating, and in a recent interview with Texans TV on March 13, he provided an update on his recovery.
Dell expressed optimism, stating, “Things have been going exceptionally well. I’ve been making rapid progress.”
Selected in the third round of last year’s NFL Draft, Dell wrapped up 2023 with impressive stats: 49 receptions for 709 yards and seven touchdowns. Additionally, he made 11 carries for 51 yards and returned 11 punts, averaging 9.1 yards.
Throughout his rehabilitation, the University of Houston alum has been a frequent visitor at NRG Stadium, expressing gratitude for the support and guidance from the team’s training and strength staff.
“I owe a lot to our training and strength teams,” Dell remarked. “They’ve set me on the right path, and I feel like I’m back and prepared. I’m eagerly awaiting the opportunity to shine again with my team and achieve our goals.”
The Texans’ offseason conditioning program commences on April 15 at NRG Stadium and the Houston Methodist Training Center.”
