Stoke City is keen to get some distance between themselves and the Championship relegation zone going into this weekend’s matchup against Norwich City. As things stand, they are three points above the drop, in 19th place.
After defeating Preston North End in the previous game, the Potters had won two of their past three league games. Steven Schumacher, who co-worked with Ryan Lowe at Plymouth Argyle, emerged victorious.
In the meantime, Norwich City is battling it out at the opposite end of the championship standings. They are now in sixth place, inside the play-off spots, but the competition is closing in.
Following their defeat at the hands of Middlesbrough, the Canaries triumphantly resumed their winning ways. At Carrow Road, they crushed a pitiful Rotherham United 5-0.

“I believe the game will be closer than the league standings would indicate. Stoke City is currently fighting for everything, and after defeating Preston, a team chasing the play-offs, they should cause another blow to a team in the top six.
“Norwich City will be the favorites since they have the talent in their ranks to win. They should win this game, but I really believe the Potters can steal something.
“I believe that the hosts have a route to success because the Canaries aren’t the greatest on the road. I’ll predict that Stoke wins 1-1 in this encounter.
