Texans have confirmed the signing of a two super bowl winner ahead of the NFL trade deadline…

A former member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Foley Fatukasi, has found a new home within the AFC South.

After his recent release from the Jaguars, defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi has inked a one-year contract with the Houston Texans.

Formerly signed with the Jaguars on a lucrative three-year deal in 2022, Fatukasi’s tenure with the team was marred by injuries, limiting his impact. Now, at 29 years old, he’s set to join a divisional rival.

During his time with the Jaguars, Fatukasi participated in 30 games over two seasons, accumulating 48 tackles and just 1.5 sacks, all in 2022.

Although his departure saves the Jaguars some cap space, it doesn’t yield them a compensatory pick since he was released rather than becoming a free agent.

Fatukasi will bolster a Texans defense that ranked sixth in fewest rushing yards allowed last season.
