The Minnesota Vikings have re-signed their free-agent tight end, Nick Muse, ahead of the 2024 offseason. Muse, initially drafted in 2022, was released during his rookie season but later signed to the practice squad and eventually promoted to the active roster.
He had limited playing time in his first two seasons but became a notable option following an injury to T.J. Hockenson.
With Hockenson potentially sidelined for the start of the upcoming season due to injury, Muse’s re-signing becomes significant as he could compete with Josh Oliver for the starting position, especially considering the lack of healthy tight ends under contract with the Vikings.
