The Minnesota Vikings are facing a quarterback dilemma, with Kirk Cousins potentially departing in free agency. If Cousins moves on, the Vikings must seek a replacement.
One potential option discussed by Rich Eisen is Dallas Cowboys’ backup, Trey Lance. Lance, acquired by the Cowboys from the San Francisco 49ers, presents an intriguing possibility for the Vikings.
While Lance’s initial acquisition cost the Cowboys a fifth-round pick, Eisen suggests the Vikings could offer a third-round pick to secure Lance’s services. Lance, a native of Minnesota, could potentially be a solution for the Vikings’ quarterback needs.
Despite holding the 11th overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, the Vikings are unlikely to trade it for Lance. However, they possess multiple picks in later rounds, providing flexibility for a potential trade with the Cowboys.
