Maple Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe has made a commitment to improve his conduct on the bench, following his ejection during the team’s recent loss to the Vegas Golden Knights.
Keefe, who is known for being vocal with referees during games, was ejected after disputing a tripping call on Mitch Marner.
While he initially declined to comment on the incident, Keefe later acknowledged that he needs to focus on the right things and not let his emotions get the best of him.
He believes that his role as a coach is to support his players and ensure they can focus on their game. Keefe’s players, including Auston Matthews, appreciate his passion and support, which they find motivating.
