Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett and cornerback Denzel Ward join ‘NFL Total Access’ ahead of Super Bowl LVIII.
Travis Kelce hopes Myles Garrett has the best possible DPOY Award run.
“I’m overjoyed for the city of Cleveland.”
Ohio Although Travis Kelce, a tight end with the Kansas City Chiefs, does not play for Cleveland, he is always positive about his hometown. Kelce threw his support behind Myles Garrett, one of the Browns contenders for a major postseason honor—he was vying for the NFL Defensive Player of the Year title. He wished Myles luck on his quest for the prize on Wednesday. “He seemed to have settled into his role in the NFL after going on a terror attack.”
Garrett joins T.J. Watt of Pittsburgh, Maxx Crosby of Las Vegas, DaRon Bland of Dallas, and Micah Parsons of Dallas as one of the five finalists for the honor. The most coveted defensive honor in the NFL has never been given to Garrett.
“The city of Cleveland is so lucky to have a guy like that.” Cleveland is fortunate to have that individual because he is a part of the community and is doing it for the right reasons, Kelce said.
On Thursday night, the NFL will reveal the winners of its awards.
