Why Texans Quarterback C.J. Stroud Grants a Super Bowl Surprise to Marine Corps Veteran.

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud has teamed up with USAA and the Air and Space Forces Association (AFA) to surprise Marine Corps veteran Craig Mazeska and his son with an extraordinary opportunity: a trip to Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.

Stroud, expressing gratitude for his military upbringing, is making this gesture to honor Mazeska’s service. The retired Marine, who served from 1988 to 1994, holds distinctions such as the Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Kuwait Liberation Medal, and a Unit Citation for his dedicated service.

Stroud’s initiative reflects a recognition of the sacrifices made by military families and seeks to provide Mazeska and his son with a memorable experience. The quarterback, having had an impressive rookie season, is also in contention for the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year Award.
