UPDATE: Minnesota Vikings 2024 Opponents…

The upcoming 2024 regular-season schedule for the Minnesota Vikings has been unveiled, determined by the NFL’s established formula. This marks the fourth season under the expanded 17-game format, with each NFC team, including the Vikings, slated to play nine home games and eight on the road, maintaining the structure seen in 2022.

The schedule intricately weaves in home and away contests against division rivals, complemented by a formula that systematically rotates to ascertain the remaining 11 matchups. While the majority of the Vikings’ opponents were known prior to the final week of the regular season, the conclusive three were determined based on the outcomes of Week 18.

Finishing the 2023 season with a record of 7-10 and securing third place in the NFC North, the Vikings will host the Atlanta Falcons from the NFC South and the New York Jets from the AFC East. Additionally, they are set to visit the New York Giants from the NFC East, given that these teams also clinched third place in their respective divisions.

The roster of home opponents for the Vikings includes divisional matchups against the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, and Green Bay Packers from the NFC North. Furthermore, they will face off against the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers of the NFC West, the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts of the AFC South, and the Atlanta Falcons from the NFC South. The Vikings will also play a home game in London as part of the 2024 International Series, a move announced by the NFL on January 11.

On the road, the Vikings will embark on familiar divisional clashes against the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, and Green Bay Packers from the NFC North. Their journey continues with matchups against the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks of the NFC West, the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans of the AFC South, and the New York Giants from the NFC East.

As the 2024 season unfolds, the Vikings will navigate a challenging and diverse schedule that includes both familiar adversaries and intriguing new matchups. The dynamics of the schedule, with its calculated mix of divisional rivalries and cross-conference contests, promise an engaging season for the Minnesota Vikings and their fans.
