INTERESTING: Explore Exciting Prospects Set to Attend Arkansas Junior Day…
The Razorbacks are gearing up for their second of three junior days on Saturday, January 20, featuring a lineup of intriguing prospects. Currently, seven high school players have confirmed their attendance for the event in Fayetteville. Among them is 2025 commitment quarterback Grayson Wilson from Central Arkansas Christian, who has notably grown to 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds since the summer. Wilson’s stellar performance led his team to a 9-3 record, with impressive passing stats of 3,413 yards, 41 touchdowns, and just two interceptions, along with 837 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns.
Joining Wilson are three offensive prospects aiming to build connections during their visit. 2025 wide receiver Tristan Norman, a 3-star athlete from Montgomery, Alabama, seeks to catch the attention of the Razorbacks with his electric junior season stats, including 44 receptions, 736 yards, and 13 touchdowns. Offensive lineman Braydn Cobain-King from Gurdon, a familiar face at Fayetteville camps, anticipates meeting Coach Eric Mateos and expresses the significance of a potential Razorbacks offer. Benton tight end Bronson Coolis, a 6-foot-3, 235-pounder, also makes an appearance after being named a second-team all-conference selection.
Looking towards the future, 2026 defensive back Tay Lockett, who committed in August 2023, is regarded as a top talent with an impressive track record. Offensive lineman Troy Pless, who recently received an offer from the Razorbacks, holds attention from multiple Power Four programs. Quarterback Grant Smith from Spring, Texas, arrives with offers from Texas A&M, Baylor, and TCU, earning recognition as a budding prospect by Prep Redzone.
Katrell Webb, a 2026 prospect from Suwanee, Georgia, received an offer from Arkansas and is being recruited for the trenches by Deke Adams and Coach Mateos. Arkansas commitments Bear McWhorter and Tay Lockett are actively encouraging Webb to consider joining them in Fayetteville.
In another development, quarterback Ryder Lyons, a 2026 prospect, secured an offer from the Razorbacks, adding to his impressive list that includes Power Four programs such as Oregon, Washington, USC, Pitt, Notre Dame, BYU, and Arizona State. Lyons demonstrated his skills during his debut season as a starter, completing 68% of his passes for 3,578 yards, 38 touchdowns, and eight interceptions, coupled with 929 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
