Teven Jenkins apologizes to Bears fans for his Sunday’s performance…

After another loss to the Packers, the Bears fans at least get an apology from one of the players.

Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but the Chicago Bears lost a football game to the Green Bay Packers. The year is now 2024, but nothing is different from the last 20 years.

There’s plenty of blame to go around for the abysmal end to the season that was. Fans are sick and tired of accepting mediocrity and failure more times than not, especially when it comes to the series against the hated Packers. But players are starting to step up and show they care. The latest to do so is Bears offensive lineman Teven Jenkins.

Bears News: Teven Jenkins Apologizes for Week 18 Bust vs. Packers
Josh Schrock laid out the statistics of just how bad the Bears’ offensive line was against the Packers on Sunday. Combined, they allowed 15 pressures to quarterback Justin Fields and gave up 4 sacks. Jenkins knows how bad it was, and he stepped up to apologize to Bears fans.

Earlier last week, Jenkins and his wife welcomed their first child to the world. The baby bump we see with players in sports sometimes did not happen this week for Jenkins. He has been so good with the Bears this season, truly coming into his own and proving he belongs on the line for the future. But Sunday was far from the best we have seen.

It’s a tough way to end the year, and it will be hard to have that to think about for the offseason. But Jenkins will work to bounce back next season as the Bears look into the unknown of what the future holds.
