Will Levis, the promising rookie quarterback for the Tennessee Titans, will miss the regular-season finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to a foot injury sustained in the previous week’s loss to Houston.
The conclusion of Levis’s impressive debut season comes after he transitioned from a college career at Kentucky, where he was initially projected as a top-five pick in the NFL Draft but slid to the second round, eventually being picked up by the Titans with the 33rd overall selection.
Although veteran Ryan Tannehill started the season for the struggling Titans, coach Mike Vrabel gave Levis an opportunity, and the rookie responded admirably. In nine games, Levis threw for 1,808 yards, registering eight touchdowns and four interceptions. He also showcased his mobility by rushing for 57 yards and a touchdown. Despite not posting staggering numbers, Levis displayed flashes of brilliance, instilling excitement in Titans fans about the team’s future.
