In a conversation with Auburn Daily’s Brian Smith, Coleman touched upon various aspects, including his transition from Central High School, his commitment to Auburn, relationships with teammates, and expectations for his college football journey.
Initially, Coleman addressed the delicate task of informing Texas A&M about his decision to choose Auburn. He emphasized the importance of not leaving any bad blood and wanted to maintain open communication with the schools involved in his recruitment. Despite the difficulty in delivering the news, he highlighted that ultimately, he could only choose one school.
Discussing his commitment to Auburn, Coleman credited Hugh Freeze as a significant factor. However, he emphasized that it wasn’t just about Freeze; it was the collective atmosphere and relationships with everyone associated with Auburn that made him feel at home. Comfort played a crucial role in his decision, and he expressed a sense of familiarity with the Auburn program.
Reflecting on his high school experience at Central, Coleman expressed a deep attachment to his teammates and the program.
