Chicago Bulls Rebound with a 118-113 Victory Against Atlanta Hawks
The Chicago Bulls regained their momentum with a significant 118-113 triumph over the Atlanta Hawks at the United Center, marking a turnaround from their previous 109-95 defeat by the Cleveland Cavaliers. This victory, propelled by clutch performances from DeMar DeRozan and Alex Caruso, secured the Bulls’ third win in a six-game home stand and improved their season record to 14-18.
In the absence of Nikola Vucevic, sidelined due to an adductor injury, Andre Drummond stepped into a starting role, showcasing his prowess with an impressive performance. The 6-foot-10 center delivered 24 points and a staggering 25 rebounds, reminiscent of his All-Star days in Detroit.

DeRozan and Caruso played pivotal roles in sealing the victory. Caruso’s three-pointer propelled the Bulls ahead 109-106 with 3:57 remaining, while DeRozan’s consecutive jumpers secured a 113-110 lead with under two minutes left. Despite Hawks star Trae Young narrowing the gap to 113-111 with free throws, DeRozan responded with a tough finger roll, extending the Bulls’ lead to 115-111.
This win adds to the Bulls’ recent success, with nine victories in their last 13 games. DeRozan, who contributed 25 points with 11 in the fourth quarter, played a crucial role. Despite a challenging night for Coby White, who missed all seven of his three-point attempts, he finished with 19 points, five rebounds, and five assists.

Ayo Dosunmu, the backup guard, also made a significant impact with 19 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Alex Caruso contributed 11 points, and Jevon Carter added 10, solidifying the Bulls’ well-rounded performance in their bounce-back win against the Hawks.
