Liam Rosenior expressed disappointment with Hull City’s 3-2 defeat against Bristol City, describing it as “three points dropped.” Despite leading 2-1 at halftime, Rosenior felt his team failed to “manage moments” effectively, leading to their defeat at Ashton Gate. While acknowledging Bristol City’s energy and tenacity, Rosenior believed his side should have secured a victory.
The Hull City manager, a former player for Bristol City, started by praising the Robins’ energy and determination, acknowledging their relentless pursuit of victory. However, he expressed frustration over what he deemed as “self-inflicted” setbacks, emphasizing that his team should have more points in the season at this stage. Rosenior highlighted moments in the game where luck played a role, referencing goalkeeper Ryan Allsop’s injury during the second goal.
