“Fan Forecast”: Vikings fans are set to be in the majority at the Raiders game in Las Vegas…

Vivid Seats, a ticket exchange and resale company, anticipates that more than 50% of the tickets sold for the upcoming Vikings versus Raiders game at Allegiant Stadium will be in the hands of Vikings fans. The company’s “Fan Forecast” currently projects a significant purple presence in the 65,000-capacity stadium, dubbing it a potential “U.S. Bank Stadium Mk. 2” for the Sunday match.

The likelihood of a considerable Viking fan turnout isn’t surprising given the historical trend of visiting fans outnumbering home supporters at Allegiant Stadium. The Raiders’ move from Oakland to Las Vegas in 2020 has limited their time to cultivate local support, and the allure of Las Vegas as an NFL destination makes it a popular choice for traveling fans.

Vikings fans are known for their enthusiastic travel, and this game marks the first time the Vikings have played in Las Vegas since the Raiders’ relocation from Oakland. Some traveling fans even plan to initiate a SKOL chant during the match.

For those seeking last-minute tickets, prices are steep, with the cheapest options on Vivid Seats starting at $197 before fees. Beyond the game itself, the Strip will host various Vikings-related activities, including appearances by legendary Vikings QB Tommy Kramer. Additionally, 100.3 KFAN will have a strong presence, broadcasting the game on radio, and the Power Trip Morning Show aired live from Vegas on Friday morning. The showdown between the Minnesota Vikings and the Las Vegas Raiders is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. CT this Sunday.
