Swansea City’s head coach, Michael Duff, anticipates having an unchanged squad for the upcoming Saturday fixture against Huddersfield Town. The Swans are concluding a three-game week, having recently faced Hull in a draw and suffered a defeat at the hands of Leeds. Duff notes some minor injuries and fatigue from the midweek clash but reassures that there are no fresh injury concerns.
Unfortunately, Harrison Ashby will remain absent as he has returned to his parent club, Newcastle, for further treatment after sustaining an injury during the draw with Hull. Additionally, Kristian Pedersen, Mykola Kuharevich, Joe Allen, Azeem Abdulai, Nathan Wood, and Josh Ginnelly continue to be sidelined.
Duff provides insight into the team’s status, stating, “We are as we were in midweek. There are no injuries from Leeds; we’ve got a few tired bodies and bumps and bruises, but we are not expecting anyone to come into the squad.” Regarding Ashby’s situation, he mentions, “He is not available for the next two or three weeks, so until we look more into it, we don’t know when we might have him back.” Furthermore, Duff confirms that players like Kristian, Myko, Joe, and Azeem are back on the training field but are not yet eligible for selection.
