Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud will face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 11 without running back Dameon Pierce, who remains sidelined due to an ankle injury.
Pierce has been out since Week 8, having struggled in his sophomore season and averaging just 3 yards per attempt after an impressive rookie year. Devin Singletary will step in for Pierce after an outstanding performance against the Cincinnati Bengals.
While Stroud leads the Texans’ offense, the matchup with the Cardinals precedes a crucial AFC South division game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12.
Despite returning to practice today, #Texans RB Dameon Pierce has been ruled out for Sunday.

Although Pierce returned to practice, the Texans have opted to wait for him to fully recover before fielding him, acknowledging the wisdom in ensuring he is at his best, considering his early-season challenges.
Despite his progress, Pierce will not participate in the Week 11 game against the Cardinals.
