The Cleveland Browns explored potential additions to their roster during Friday tryouts, featuring quarterback Joe Flacco among 11 players.
Despite Flacco’s visit and heightened interest due to starting quarterback Deshaun Watson’s season-ending injury, no immediate contract was secured.
The Browns, currently 6-3-0 and eyeing playoffs, face uncertainties with P.J. Walker and rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson as their quarterbacks.
Following his workout, Joe Flacco is not expected to sign with the #Browns today, per source. That could be logistical – he wouldn’t be involved in the Week 11 gameplan this late in the week anyway. So, Flacco will head home and both sides can assess.

As Watson undergoes shoulder surgery and the need for a third quarterback arises, the options include seasoned veterans like Matt Ryan, Nick Foles, and Colt McCoy. The urgency to secure a capable replacement is emphasized by the Bengals’ similar quarterback predicament.
The Browns aim to make a decision soon, with speculation about potential signings circulating in the coming week.
