The Houston Texans made a bold move by selecting rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud as the No. 2 overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft.
Since then, Stroud has made a significant impact, rejuvenating the struggling Texans who had only won three games the previous season.
So far, in the 2023 campaign, Stroud has led the team to five victories in the first 10 weeks. Despite being part of MVP discussions, Stroud remains driven to improve and emphasizes the ongoing process of the game.
With impressive statistics, including leading the league in passing yards per game and ranking second in total passing yards, Stroud has contributed to the Texans’ current standing as the No. 7 seed in the AFC playoff race.
This puts them in contention for a Wild Card spot and a potential playoff appearance, which would be the team’s first since 2019. Stroud humbly acknowledges the recognition he receives but highlights the collective effort of his team, expressing gratitude for the support.
As Stroud and the Texans prepare to face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 11, the rookie quarterback remains focused on maintaining the positive momentum that has characterized his historic debut season in the NFL.
