A man named Michael Hurst, aged 56, has been handed a three-year ban from football events following an incident that occurred on April 15 this year when Southampton played against Crystal Palace at St Mary’s.

Hurst, who resides on Knatts Valley Road, Sevenoaks, admitted to using threatening or abusive language likely to cause harassment, alarm, or distress. As part of his penalty, he received a £200 fine and was ordered to pay court costs of £85 along with an £80 surcharge, to be paid in £20 installments.
