Ali Al-Hamadi has 10 goal contributions in 17 games this season so far, with Championship clubs flocking to Plough Lane to watch him in action.
Ali Al-Hamadi’s impressive performance for AFC Wimbledon has attracted the attention of several EFL clubs. With 10 goals in his first 19 games last season and five goals plus five assists in the current 2023-24 campaign, he’s now one of the most scouted players in lower leagues.
Leeds United and Sunderland are among the interested clubs, but others like Hull, Bristol City, Stoke, and Cardiff have also been scouting him.
Both Barnsley and Peterborough had offers rejected in the summer, and Wimbledon is looking for more than the £1.2 million they received for Ayoub Assal.
As for which Championship club he should join in January, former England international midfielder Carlton Palmer suggests that he should consider Hull or Cardiff, where he might get more game-time and potentially develop into a Premier League player.
However, there are existing options for these clubs to choose from, so Al-Hamadi’s immediate game-time might not be guaranteed.
