One of the marquee games on the NFL’s schedule this weekend has the 5-3 Buffalo Bills visiting the 4-3 Cincinnati Bengals.
It will be a rematch of the Divisional round of last season’s playoffs, when the Bengals routed the Bills, 27-10, with relative ease.

Both teams are trying to re-establish themselves as Super Bowl contenders this season after some uneven play, but many likely feel this game is more important for the Bills than the Bengals.
In fact, Colin Cowherd said this contest is a “fork in the road” for Buffalo and that they need to win or else it will mean they have officially regressed.

The Bills had been considered Super Bowl contenders in each of the last three seasons, but they made it to the AFC Championship Game only once.
This is a franchise that made it to the Super Bowl four straight times in the early 1990s but lost there each time.
At first glance, one would wonder why Buffalo is only 5-3 — they have an elite quarterback in Josh Allen, an elite wide receiver in Stefon Diggs, and other capable players on both sides of the football.
A negative for them is the injury that has knocked linebacker Matt Milano out for the season, but they cannot use it as an excuse.
Meanwhile, the Bengals have won three games in a row, and perhaps their QB, Joe Burrow, is back to normal after struggling mightily to start the year.
