“Valid already”: Fabrizio Romano shares ‘amazing updates’ as he claims the 15-goal Crystal Palace target has a release clause worth just £15m …

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has recently disclosed an important update regarding Crystal Palace’s target, Serhou Guirassy, who has already amassed 15 goals this season. Romano, a renowned name in the realm of football transfers, confirmed via his Twitter account that the striker possesses a release clause set at a mere £15 million, which becomes active starting this January.

Crystal Palace has expressed their interest in acquiring Guirassy, but they face stiff competition from Brentford and West Ham, both of whom are keen on signing the Guinea international.

Guirassy’s remarkable performance in the Bundesliga, where he has scored 14 league goals, including two hat-tricks against Mainz and Wolfsburg, has propelled Stuttgart to second place in the league after eight matches.

Despite having recently made a permanent move to Stuttgart this summer following a successful loan spell last season, his new contract includes an astonishingly affordable £15 million release clause. This is a particularly enticing prospect considering his prolific goal-scoring form in the league, surpassing the goal tally of England captain Harry Kane, who made a high-profile transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich.

Kane, aged 30, has made an impressive start to his first Bundesliga season, finding the net nine times. However, he currently lags behind Stuttgart’s number nine by five goals.

This season, Guirassy has significantly elevated his performances, matching his goal total from the previous campaign in just eight appearances.

Regarding a potential move to the Premier League, the 27-year-old striker, in an interview with Bild at the end of September, left the door open, saying that while he and his team feel content in Stuttgart, he wouldn’t dismiss the idea of a future move to England’s top flight, albeit without it being a constant aspiration.
