Tottenham’s boss Postecoglou shares ‘worrying updates’ as he confirms double fitness blow as Crystal Palace looms…

Tottenham is anticipating the fitness of both Pape Matar Sarr and Destiny Udogie for their upcoming London derby against Crystal Palace on Friday night. During Monday night’s 2-0 win over Fulham, both players had to be substituted in the second half. Sarr had been struggling with an illness, and Udogie experienced some muscle tightness.

Spurs’ head coach, Ange Postecoglou, expressed optimism that both players would recover in time for the match at Selhurst Park on Friday. Regarding Sarr, Postecoglou stated, “He is OK. He was not in perfect health going into the game, as he had been dealing with an illness in the last couple of days. But he was eager to give his all and start, and I had a sense he would last for 60 or 70 minutes. With the short turnaround to Friday, I am fairly confident he will be ready.”

In the case of Udogie, Postecoglou mentioned, “He felt a bit of tightness. Again, when we secured the second goal and considering the quick turnaround, we thought it was prudent to substitute him. Once more, I don’t believe it’s a significant issue.”
